Artificial Intelligence and Real Life

Philosophical Orientation for a Good Future

Can AI help us lead a meaningful life?

In the near future, we will be accompanied through our everyday lives by a personal AI. Virtual partners and the networking of our environments in the Internet of Things are no longer niche phenomena either. The possibilities of artificial intelligence are fascinating and are developing rapidly. They will certainly change society and the world we live in forever. But in which direction? New technologies are usually associated with the glittering promise of a better future: More time for the essentials thanks to smart apps! More connection with your fellow human beings through online dating! Relief and support from AI - around the clock!

Philosopher Christian Uhle looks at where potentials for a more fulfilling life and a good future are actually opening up - and where we are being led astray.
